I am a freelance communications consultant migrating to the west of Ireland and focusing my time on a social promotion startup. I have over 18 years experience in the public relations industry and have seen a lot of trends, phases and represented many different technologies from biometrics, ISPs, software and hardware.
I was a director of the Irish Internet Association for six years and am now the chair of the IIA Social Media Working group, a graduate member of the PRII and MII, a judge of the Irish Blog Awards and the IIA Net Visionary Awards and a member of the communications committee of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. In a previous life I was a secondary school teacher.
Outside of work I am passionate about sports. Never a great spectator I play football, jog, mountain walk, swim and cycle leading to a growing interest in Triathlons and adventure sports.
